What is a Traveling Auction?

A traveling auction is where I travel from one place to another and another and so on offering
advertised items at auction at advertised locations and times. Buyers that don't wish to follow the auction from beginning to end can go to the location of the item they wish to buy at the advertised time for that item. Basically, several mini auctions on the same day.

This event is to accommodate those who have nice items that they would like to sell, but not enough to hold a complete auction of their own. In fact, some locations may have only one item. It is intended for nicer, higher dollar items, but other items will work. This event will work by itself, but would work well in conjunction with a garage sale. The garage sale will attract buyers for the auction and the auction will attract buyers for the garage sale. This combination allows sellers to offer their many small items at the garage sale and the larger or more expensive items at auction taking the guess work out of pricing these items. The auction items should be set apart separately from the garage sale items and reserved to be sold at the auction time only.
